Just a Kiss Cocktail

A summery, smooth, clarified cocktail you can make at home. The clarification process uses whole milk to create a silky, super clear cocktail. It’s a simple, foolproof process that has been around since the 18th century.
 
8 oz Fierce & Kind American Vodka
3 oz Orange Liqueur
4 oz fresh squeezed lemon juice
2 oz Hibiscus syrup
4 oz Whole Milk
Edible Flower Garnish
 
Combine all the ingredients in a large glass or plastic bowl. The milk will begin to separate immediately. Let sit 2 hours at room temperature.
 
Fit two coffee filters into a fine mesh strainer. Let strain into one glass for 30 seconds. Then, switch the strainer to jar or bottle. Let strain for several hours in the refrigerator.
 
Remove the strainer (you’ve made a sweet, boozy ricotta cheese!). Your cocktail will have a bright, beautiful, extra clear appearance, and a smooth silky sweet taste.
 
The cocktail will remain fresh in your refrigerator for months in a sealed bottle!
 
Serve over a large, clear ice cube, or chilled in a martini glass, and garnish with an edible flower.
